Radcliffe Priorities

Overall Radcliffe priorities for this academic year:

  1. Embed our curriculum plans for all subjects, ensuring that they are well sequenced and provide pupils with the knowledge required in readiness for their next steps in learning.
  2. Implement a more consistent approach to the teaching of phonics in order to strengthen children’s early reading acquisition, enabling pupils to become confident and fluent
    readers.
  3.  Raise the attainment of the number of children achieving the expected standard in reading, writing & mathematics at both Key Stage 1 & Key Stage 2.
  4. Embed the new EYFS framework alongside current good practice in order to improve the proportion of children acquiring a good level of development.
